Hello!
I am Raquel Serrano, an industrial engineer and environmental and sustainability consultant for small and medium-sized companies that want to make their business more responsible.
When I was a little girl I was fascinated by taking apart my toys and discovering how their mechanisms worked. That is why I decided to study industrial engineering. As an engineer, I have worked for more than ten years for major brands in the automotive industry, mainly in Germany.
A trip to Indonesia was the trigger to start changing my life, both personally and professionally.
Seeing with my own eyes the environmental impact of tourism, traffic, poverty or deforestation in the Borneo rainforest, made sitting in my office every day developing cars a huge mental burden.
This is how I decided to broaden my knowledge in resource, environment and sustainability management and finally quit my job to focus on my true passion.
In this time, moreover, I have been a mother, and this has only reaffirmed my desire to dedicate myself to improving the use of resources, to working in a more efficient and respectful way and to putting ethics and life at the center. I invite you to take a look at my other private project, mowom, in which I do research and learn more about this topic.
Today I know what my values are and how I want them to be part of my personal and professional life.
I am convinced that any change, no matter how small, has a lot of power if it is made consciously. That is why with my current project I help small and medium-sized companies like yours to continually improve and be more socially and environmentally responsible with their production processes while remaining economically profitable.

I am a Senior Industrial Engineer from the University of Zaragoza
I have training in Sustainability Management, Climate Protection and Energy Management.
I have worked as a Project Manager and I am certified in PRINCE2 Practitioner, SCRUM Master and SCRUM Product Owner.
I have a Master in Environmental Management from the Open University (UK)
I know ISO 14001, EMAS, GHG Protocol and the GRI Standards.
I work in Spanish, English and German.
